Suzi Q R is a very powerful moving young mare. She also carries some bloodlines that hint at great jumping. Her sire, Starnberg, was outstanding and trained at Ryans for two years. He responded magnificently and at the end of that time he could piaffe, passage and do one-time changes. He was outstanding. Starnberg is by Sir Donnerhall, by Sandro Hit – both are major contributors to the best horses in the dressage world. Interestingly, Rapunzel, who is the dam of Starnberg, represents some fascinating jumping lines. Suzi Q R is out of Rowena R by Regardez Moi who is a legend in Australian dressage being the current Australian dressage champion for the third time. Rowena R out of a Jive Magic mare, Jodi R, with Jive Magic being one of the most powerful Grand Prix horses Australia has ever seen. Jodi R is in turn out of the Salute mare Shakira R. Shakira R is by Salute, also the sire of Victory Salute who with Brett Parbery in the saddle came 9^th in the world at the 2010 WEG dressage competition. Salute has produced international three-day eventers and World Cup showjumpers as well as Grand Prix dressage horses. Suzi Q R is a delicate or more refined type warmblood who will make up into a very pretty individual given some time and TLC. She does carry some significant dressage bloodlines and is really nice to be around. Just a nice person. Certainly we take her very seriously and feel that Grand Prix dressage is easily within her reach. Suzi Q R will make somebody very happy.
