Chestnut Mare

DOB: 08/10/2018

Sire: MSJ Nemo    Dam: Sunflower R

Nasturtium R is a elegant filly with a confident and cheeky nature. She has loney paces. Nasturtium R is by MSJ Nemo who is arguably the best bred young dressage stallion in the world. He combines the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Individual Gold medallist and Individual Silver Medallist in one exciting stallion! MSJ Nemo is sired by Negro who is also the sire of Valegro ridden by Charlotte Dujardin. Valegro won the Olympic Gold  Medal at London 2012 and also at Rio de Janeiro 2016. Nemo R’s grandmother ‘Fernia’ on his dams side is a full sister to Don Schufro. Don Schufro is the sire of Weihegold who was ridden by Isabell Werth and who was the Individual Silver Medallist at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics and was also the team Gold Medallist.

On Nasturtium R's dam line is Starnberg. Starnberg is an imported Oldenburg Stallion by Sir Donnerhall. At just 6 years of age Starnberg was already displaying magnificent and easy piaffe and passage and 15 perfectly straight one-time changes. This is almost unheard of anywhere in the world for a young 6yo stallion! Starnberg is a light modern warmblood and has the most beautiful conformation. However, a couple of years ago the decision was made to geld Starnberg. The Starnberg progeny have been successful in competition and are very impressive.

Right on the bottom line of Nasturtium's pedigree is Samphire R. Samphire R is also the dam of Jarrah R, Rozzie Ryans Grand Prix horse.
