SOLD - Auction of the Stars - December 2012

Chestnut gelding 2002 16.3hh

Janssen is leggy and good-looking. He has a good walk with nice over track, his trot is regular and shows lots of bend in both knees and hocks. Janssen is very comfortable in shoulder-in, travers, renvers and half-pass. In the canter Janssen has good balance and again is comfortable in half-pass, canter pirouettes, single flying changes, changes every fourth stride, changes every third stride and on a good day changes every second stride. Janssen has started one-time changes. Janssen has been competed very lightly up to and including elementary level. Janssen will have a preliminary grading however he certainly could go out and start at Prix St Georges level if he had to. Janssen is by Jive Magic who is producing some really serious dressage horses. Jive Magic himself was a top of the range Grand Prix dressage competitor. Janssen is out of a Richmeed Medallion mare. Richmeed Medallion is by May Sherif who is still the only stallion in the world to sire two World Cup Freestyle winners in Andiamo ridden by Sven Rothenberger and Matador ridden by Kyra Kyrklund. Richmeed Medallion is also the sire of Mystery Whisper who represented the USA at the London 2012 Olympics. Janssen is a very upstanding individual.
