Jimson R is immediately an outstanding lot being tall for his age and very well developed. He has wonderful conformation which makes the heart quicken. Jimson R is particularly quiet with great poise and a natural soft confidence. He is quite difficult to chase around the arena and show off his paces. His paces are however wonderfully balanced with huge scope and a spectacular kick into the air and subsequent moment of suspension whilst trotting. A brilliant type that would stand up with the best youngsters in the world. Jimson R is by Jive Magic who in 2008 won the Sydney CDI Grand Prix. The young stock by Jive Magic are going very well with Just Dance R winning the advanced and the medium champion at the recent NSW dressage championships. Runner up in the advanced was another Jive Magic gelding called Jarrah R. Very interesting is that Jarrah R is just 7 years of age, has already won a Prix St George and is out of Jimson R’s grandmother, Samphire R. Samphire R is stunningly bred being by
Salute who is also the sire of Victory Salute who came 9th in the dressage in the World Equestrian Games in 2010. Salute is also the sire of Stirling Stilton who was the highest scoring Australian Grand Prix dressage horse at the Spanish World Equestrian Games in 2002. Salute has lots of other Grand Prix offspring including Olympic jumping progeny. Jimson R is a blinder.
