She is by Drumming R. Drumming R himself is a combination of De Niro, who is the number one sire of current Grand Prix dressage horses in the world, and Totilas, who is thought to be the best dressage horse ever!! Drumming R is the absolute edge of the edge in dressage genetics.

Jaika R, who is the dam of Desiree R is by the very successful Grand Prix stallion Jive Magic who with Rozzie won the 2010 Grand Prix at the Sydney CDI. This is possibly the most prestigious dressage show in Australia at the time. Jaika R is out of Slinky R who is one of the last remaing Salute mares. Salute has produced both dressage and eventing horses that have gone on to compete in the top levels of each discipline.
