Quirindi R

Chestnut filly mature 16.1hh

21/11/2019

Sire: Questing R    Dam: Frumpet R

Quirindi R is a gorgeous young filly. Chestnut with a bit of bling. Quirindi R is by Questing R who has take your breath away paces. Questing R in his competition career scores over 70% regularly and has scored over 80% on occasion. Questing R won the 2016 Novice and Elementary National Championships.

Quirindi R is out of Frumpet R who is one of the only Fiji R broodmares we managed to retain, the Fiji R progeny were so highly sought after that we sold most of them. Fiji R was a beautiful stallion who passed on beautiful looks, paces and temperament to his progeny. Fiji R was a Grand Prix dressage horse and who in turn is by Florencio. Florencio was the World Dressage Young Horse Champion as a 5yo and again as a 6yo. Fiji R has been trained and campaigned primarily by Bree Tillitzki. Fiji was Bree’s first Grand Prix horse and they enjoyed great success. Frumpet R also carries the Argentille Ilkay blood. Ilkay was a very fancy Dutch stallion imported into Australia by Val D’Argent. Ilkay has, with limited opportunity, sired some very impressive competition horses. Interesting enough, Ilkay is by Varient. Varient is the dam line of Olympic gold medallist and world champion dressage horse Valegro. Australia has been very slow to pick up on this fact. Anky’s grand-dam Alpha II was an FEI dressage horse with then-teenager but now Olympian, Kristy Oatley.
